Style and plan
A warm bronze colour scheme with a white contrast was chosen to create a modern feel. With the home’s open layout, key renovation areas in the kitchen and living room were identified. About 50% of the budget was spent on these feature areas, with the remainder used for works on the rest of the home. By planning the project down to the last detail, the project management team executed all works and materials to streamline the renovation process.

Renovation breakdown
Over the course of the 4 weeks, 13 trade professionals were managed by an experienced building supervisor to deliver the works. We provide a breakdown of their specific work below:
● Carpenter: Complete demolition of the home’s interior as well as the installation of new door handles and locks.
● Glazier: Installation of shower screens and bathroom mirrors as well as replacing windows.
● Painter: Complete painting of the entire home, including all walls, ceilings, doors, frames, eaves and patio.
● Plumber: Installation of all new tapware, a toilet as well as the stove and oven.
● Stone mason: Cut and installation of new stone benchtop.
● Floor specialist: Complete install of oak laminate planks and new carpet.
● Gardener: Landscaping and general gardening.
● Flooring: Wood floor removal and installation of grey laminate planks.
● Tiler: Kitchen, laundry, bathroom and toilet splashback and complete re-grout in both bathrooms.
● Cabinet maker: Installation of kitchen and bathroom cabinetry and storage shelves.
● Gyprocker: Replacement of the damaged cornices and small areas of the ceiling where necessary.
● Electrician: Electrical systems check and installation of lighting.
● Garage specialist: New classic cream garage door installation.
● Fence installer: Installation of a new side gates.
● Blind professional: Complete installation of bronze vertical blinds throughout the home.
● Commercial cleaner: A complimentary thorough and detailed clean of the entire home post renovation, ready for move in.
