Our History
Presidential Painting Services is a wholly-owned division of Presidential Group, a proudly Western Australian owned company specialising in professional building, emergency, restoration, insurance repair, maintenance and facility services. With origins dating back to 1999, Presidential Group was started in 1999 by husband and wife Ramadan and Sibel Abas.
Presidential Group initially operated as a commercial cleaning company. In response to the growing need of their clients, Ramadan and Sibel gradually began to expand the business, adding maintenance, building repair, electrical services, restoration and painting services.
During the course of providing insurance repair, building maintenance, restoration and renovation services, Ramadan soon identified a growing need for professional painting solutions delivered as part of our already comprehensive building services. Presidential Painting Services was established as a division of Presidential Group in 2014 and began by servicing our existing home renovation, commercial building restoration and insurance repair clients. As our reputation grew, Presidential Painting Services soon began attracting new clients and demand for our services rapidly expanded to encompass stand-alone painting projects across Perth’s residential, commercial and industrial sectors.
Having transitioned through several different premises over the last twenty years, Presidential Group now comprise of six divisions, each headed up by its own Operations Manager, dozens of staff and a busy head office located in Wangara.

Presidential Painting Services work with fully qualified and experienced Painters, each of whom bring their own unique skill set and expertise. As a team, our experts have decades of experience across a diverse range of property styles including heritage homes, modern townhouses and strata buildings through to retail outlets, hospitality venues, health care facilities, factories and other commercial buildings. Our Painters are ‘working at heights’ certified ensuring they are able to safely and efficiently undertake a wide variety of residential and commercial projects.
We work with all the major paint brands including Dulux, British Paints, Taubman’s, Wattyl and Solver and also have considerable expertise around a wide range of industrial coatings, eco-friendly products and quick drying paints. Employing experienced Colour Consultants, we work closely with our clients to understand their aspirations and recommend a colour palette to perfectly reflect their desired aesthetic.

At Presidential Painting Services, we work with a trusted network of house Painters, Commercial Painters and Colour Consultants. All our Painters are fully licensed, insured, background checked and ‘working at heights’ certified. The majority of our Painters have been with us since our inception and share our commitment to excellence.

We also have considerable expertise around low fume paints, eco-friendly products, quick drying paints and the latest in specialty finishes. Shannon brings with him over 15 years’ experience as a residential and commercial Painter and is responsible for coordinating all our painting projects. Throughout his career, Shannon has gained expertise working across all manner of properties and offers our clients an invaluable source of knowledge on the most suitable products and application techniques for their individual projects.
