Our History

Presidential Facility Services is a wholly-owned division of Presidential Group, a proudly Western Australian owned company specialising in professional building, emergency, restoration, insurance repair, maintenance, and facility services. With origins dating back to 1999, Presidential Group was started in 1999 by husband and wife Ramadan and Sibel Abas.

Presidential Facility Services initially operated as a commercial cleaning company, started by Ramadan’s parents, who at the time had amassed over 15 years’ experience in the commercial cleaning industry.

As a teenager, Ramadan would assist his parents on various cleaning jobs then later, whilst studying Accounting, he became increasingly more involved with the expansion and management of the business.

Ramadan’s drive and persistence were instrumental in securing the organisation’s first big client, ABC Learning Centres, in 2003.  This required rapid expansion in order to service the childcare organisation’s 18 centres across Perth.

Presidential Facility Services continued to grow due, acquiring new clients throughout the late 2000’s, and Ramadan began focusing on expanding into additional services. Sibel took over sole management of Presidential Facility Services. In her role as Operations Manager, Sibel is responsible for the acquisition and management of our cleaning professionals, overseeing jobs, maintaining quality assurance and acting as liaison between our clients and our professional staff.

From humble beginnings, Presidential Facility Services have enjoyed continued expansion thanks to many positive ‘word of mouth’ referrals and the dedication of our loyal staff. Today, we’re comprised of a 30-strong team of cleaning professionals, tailoring long-term cleaning solutions for all manner of commercial organisations across Perth. Throughout our expansion, we’ve maintained the same passion, dedication and commitment to excellence. And with Ramadan’s parents still working with us as cleaners, naturally we’re known for our friendly, down-to-earth approach and family values!

We also offer specialist services such as window cleaning, ‘cleaning at heights’, tile and grout cleaning and rubbish removal.

 

Our People

Presidential Facility Services utilise only experienced, insured and background checked staff, all of whom have been fully trained by us and share our passion for excellence. Most of our cleaners have been with us for many years, some since our inception, so have a thorough understanding of our commitment to excellence. We take a hands-on approach to our services by regularly auditing and reporting on every job. Our cleaners also play an active role in the audit process ensuring they are committed to maintaining our meticulous quality, safety and security standards.

Safety and Security

Presidential Facility Services are committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety and security across every site. Our cleaning staff receive site-specific inductions as well as ongoing training regarding OH&S best practices. We work with individual clients to ensure each facility’s security protocols are always upheld and that security codes, photographic verifications or other confirmations are provided at the end of each shift as required.

Detailed, Digital Reporting

In order to consistently maintain our high standards, we conduct regular audits to assess each job for quality, efficiency and safety. This involves checking every task undertaken, comparing them to the original scope of works and compiling detailed and itemised reports for our clients. All our jobs are also reliably scheduled, staffed and administered according to our strict management processes.

Environmentally Responsible

Presidential Facility Services rely on the latest equipment, quality brands, recycled consumables and eco-friendly cleaning chemicals which enable us to deliver outstanding results whilst minimising our impact on the environment. With extensive experience servicing laboratories, educational institutions, agricultural facilities, and other sensitive sites, we also work closely with clients to understand any special environmental requirements unique to their site.

Sibel Abas

Like her husband, Sibel also began working at Presidential Group during our very early days. As Ramadan began taking on more responsibility for the company’s insurance repair and building clients, Sibel gradually began managing the Facility Services Division more autonomously, soon assuming complete responsibility for running the division including management of all client relations, tender responses, commercial cleaning contracts, cleaning audits and site scopes as well as the training and supervision of all cleaning professionals. Sibel is a member of the Cleaning Council of WA and has completed certificate qualifications in cleaning, restoration and structural drying. She believes her flexibility, personalised approach and exacting standards are among the main reasons she’s been able to build many long-term relationships with her clients. Outside work, Sibel enjoys travelling and spending time with her family.
